Update on WWM

Good evening world. Just a small update on the new album.  The writing is almost completely done. I will begin the recording process next week. I am waiting on two more features and then we will be good to go. I am so ready for this project to be out. Right now I am looking at an August release date. I think that is probable.  I would say July but seeing that I am going to be gone almost the entire month of July, August makes more sense in terms of marketing and promotion. I will shoot official videos for three or four songs and they will be spread out over the course of the year. I am trying to get interviews with all the top blogs and maybe if I'm lucky b96 (i doubt it lol). I am going to work this album super hard and I hope it gets all the love and respect it deserves. Thanks to all my day one and my day two fans. Regardless of how long you've been rocking with me I appreciate. Make sure you read and share my interviews. Thanks for all the support. I love yall!

Slowly but Surely...

...is the best way to describe the musical process right now. I really am busy but music always has a place in my life. I guess thats why I cant be on a major label because I can never meet deadlines LOL. I still want to shoot videos for a few songs on AGAAM but I do not have a cameraman. Looking to do a photoshoot as well but no cameraman. I cant do everything by myself although i wish i could. as far as work for the next album goes, im six to seven songs in. i am just focusing on making music & not worrying about a tracklist yet. I am going to get around to the breakdown of AGAAM rather sooner than later. Again thanks for all the love and support.

New Music Coming Soon!

Hey world. Happy Presidents day to you all. In a very cheerful mood! New laptop on deck finally! LOL Tryna shoot a video to "The Hood" very soon. Also will be having a performance in April so that footage will be uploaded when the time is near. I'm still pushing A Girl And A Mic and I am also starting to record new music. I'm taking my time with this project. Not to say AGAAM was rushed but I'm just enjoying the process of making music.

My life is so inspirational right now. So many things happening at once. I am always busy which is a great thing. I also have the luxury of home recording. So anytime I feel inspiration I can record. I am thinking about shooting 2 more videos but we will see.

As far as features on the new project, definitely singers, 1 or 2, as far as rappers Idk. I'm picky about that LOL but we'll see. Flirting with a few names as well as artwork direction. But that will pick up full speed once all the music is done and sequenced. So far no release date, but i'm tryna have it out before September.

im not gonna be like every other rapper and proclaim that 2011 is my year. no disrespect to anyone that does that but thats not me. a girl and a mic was my baby. now its time to have more kids. the next few weeks im gonna be recording collabos and starting the recording process for my new project. flirting with a couple of titles right now but nothing is set in stone. hoping to release it before summer. this summer im doing a mixtape (!) with the big homie bigfoot. looking forward to that. thanks for all the support thus far.

update 2-21-2010

hello world. i am in very good spirits right now. a girl and a mic is done, and i am looking at a September/October release date. I just have to re-record a few songs. yes i will have copies pressed up, if anyone is interested in buying. i am now working on my next project called b3. it should be out in jan/feb. so im really excited. i will hopefully be shooting 2 or 3 videos for it. the songs are cant leave rap alone, love you and maybe the hood. thanks for all the support.

Wow. what a difference a few days make. I gotta new mic (Thanks PJ) & its super dope! All the songs for A Girl and A Mic are recorded. BUUUUTTTT I'm holding off on releasing it until I get it mixed and mastered. So June is looking like the release month of the project. I sent out 4 advanced copies out to get some feedback, and the response has been tremendous. Thanks who all listened and gave honest feedback. I appreciate it. I am going to change the hook on one song, and maybe another. But the EP is done. I am supposed to be getting the artwork today, if so I might post it. But thanks for all the support.

Update 1-27-10

I havent did an update for you guys in a while so hear goes nothing. I released a buzz single off my upcoming project. It's called Breathe and it features Cambow. You can check it out here -----> http://bln.kr/86P. Let me know what you think of it. I have been getting so much positive feedback from it. The only thing people have complained about was the quality and I'm working on that! I need a new mic!

A Girl and A Mic is coming soon. Within the next couple of months. I might drop one more single before the actual project. I'm really shooting for a March-April release and June at the latest. If I do drop it in June I will release 2 more singles. One every couple of months.

Not alot of features on the tape. Cambow is the only rapper and the other 3 are singers. So basically its all me! I want everyone to get a feel for Lady Breezy and what I bring to the table we call hip hop!

A Girl and A Mic is 20% done. I'm only waiting to record it. I'm twisted between recording now, or holding off til I get a new mic. I think I'm going to wait because I want to give you guys the best possible!

There will be 15 songs. Counting the intro and the outro but I'm rapping on both of those. All I can say is open your eyes cuz its gone be so dope! & I'm not just saying it because its my project lol. I have an ear for hip hop and its dope.

I have 3 songs recorded. I just need to record the rest. I'ma wait til I get a new mic to do that. But I have already begun the writing process for my next project. So look out for that in Winter of 2010.

As of right now, I will press up some copies of A Girl and A Mic. So support that.

Small Update

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I did. Just a little update. Therapy EP is pushed back indefinately. Like i dont even know when it will drop. Im going to drop an EP before Therapy EP. I have no idea when the release will be. I dont even know if Therapy EP will be released anytime soon. Its REALLY highly emotional. I said some stuff I prolly shouldnt have said but honestly I dont want my introduction to the world to be that. Feel me? So, thats why I want to kinda establish myself before releasing that peace of art. Anywhoo, no name for the other EP. I just did a song with my boy T-Jay called, Pay Day. Its dope. As soon as he gets his part done it will be released! So be on the look out for that. Im fenna go write.

right now, its 5:08 a.m eastern time. i haven't been to sleep. I'm up working on the launching pad. I'm trying to get it out as soon, as possible, but I'm not rushing it. im working on a song right now called "We Gone Make It (Theme Song)" Its a real inspirational, uplifting song. It will be on the launching pad. before i release the launching pad, i want to get featured on the DJ booth. which is DJbooth.net. I need everyone to log in to their email accounts and email them, & tell them y'all want Lady Breezy on the site. Ill do my part & give y'all some banging music. I have about 7 or 8 finished songs. I'm really waiting on my r&b features to come back. I cant sing worth a nickel so ill definitely need those lol. but once again thanks for supporting me in all that i do. i do it for the people. i do it for the hood. but most importantly i do it for me. stay tuned.
