it's been a minute...

ugh. i hate this. i really do. i love music. this i know. but life gets in the way. between school, work, my daughter, the army, music has taken a backseat. i'm in the process of moving. hopefully once i get in my new digs the music will come sooner rather than later. i swear walk with me will come out this year. 2013. i swear. and i dont swear but i'm so serious. i'm ready to create and share with the world. get ready. -b

classic

i honestly think classic is a term people throw around too loosely nowadays. there is a difference between a great album and a classic album. only time will tell if an album is a classic. it is my goal to create a classic album and a grammy award winning album. but time will tell. artists say their albums are classics all the time, just lying between the skin of their lips. i prefer to let the music speak. let the people decide. that is all. breezy is coming soon. #wwm2013 tell a friend to tell a friend. peace & blessings.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, my album will not come out this yeah as originally planned. I am still working diligently to allow it to come out the first or second quarter of 2013. But mark my words, i swear to yall it will be out 2013!!!! i'm so tired of waiting but it's really not my fault. thanks for staying patient. keep bopping that "a girl and a mic" it's timeless music!!! new album coming soon!!! peace & love

Working...Update.

Hello world. I am trying to do better on the posting. =) I recorded the first single last night and I am very excited about it. I should be releasing it at the end of the month. I hope you guys like it as much as I do. Still aiming for an end of July/beginning of August release date for the album. I am still recording and it will have 15/16 songs. I am anxious for you guys to hear the new music. As always thanks for all the love and support!!

From here on out, my music career is dedicated to my late friend Shaun Barlow aka Big Foot. I really can’t put into words the hurt i am feeling. I never expected him to leave so soon. He had so much potential but God wanted him home. I can only accept it & try not to question it but it’s hard. Your music lives on forever. Rest in peace my friend. I do it for you.
