Working...Update.

Hello world. I am trying to do better on the posting. =) I recorded the first single last night and I am very excited about it. I should be releasing it at the end of the month. I hope you guys like it as much as I do. Still aiming for an end of July/beginning of August release date for the album. I am still recording and it will have 15/16 songs. I am anxious for you guys to hear the new music. As always thanks for all the love and support!!

From here on out, my music career is dedicated to my late friend Shaun Barlow aka Big Foot. I really can’t put into words the hurt i am feeling. I never expected him to leave so soon. He had so much potential but God wanted him home. I can only accept it & try not to question it but it’s hard. Your music lives on forever. Rest in peace my friend. I do it for you.

BREAKDOWN: INTRO

I'm starting a new series on the blog. It's called breakdown. Here I will breakdown the stories, lyrics, and inspirations behind my tracks. The first track I am going to do is "A Girl and a Mic (Intro)".

I love real soulful records and as soon as I heard this beat, I fell in love. I was a little disappointed in the length of the beat but I knew it was going to be the intro my my project. It just set the tone all the way. I started spitting real hard bars and wanted to capture the attention of the listener. That was my whole aim for this record was to get the attention of the person listening. When you are a new artist, the first time a listener hears you, is the first impression and everyone knows that you never get a second chance for a first impression. I think I nailed it. =)

Slowly but Surely...

...is the best way to describe the musical process right now. I really am busy but music always has a place in my life. I guess thats why I cant be on a major label because I can never meet deadlines LOL. I still want to shoot videos for a few songs on AGAAM but I do not have a cameraman. Looking to do a photoshoot as well but no cameraman. I cant do everything by myself although i wish i could. as far as work for the next album goes, im six to seven songs in. i am just focusing on making music & not worrying about a tracklist yet. I am going to get around to the breakdown of AGAAM rather sooner than later. Again thanks for all the love and support.
